News of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh

10.29.08 First Works of Memphis, TN brings four kids to camp!  Two years ago when the Calvary Camp staff started the annual January Mission Trip they met Pastor Birgitte French, Executive Director of First Works in Memphis, Tennessee.  Ever since, "Pastor Bee" had a vision of bringing some of her after-school program kids to a week of camp.  This summer, that vision came to fruition.  Read about here!

10.27.08 The Calvary Camp Reunion is scheduled for Monday, December 29th at Calvary Church in Pittsburgh!  Join us for the annual slideshow of this past summer and reconnect with friends.  The reunion will be held from 2:00 - 4:00pm.  We hope to see you and your friends there!

10.20.08 We would like to give a special thank you to everyone who helped at the Fall Work Weekend, it was a great success!  All of the volunteer work to help put the campus to rest for the winter continues to be invaluable.  We split all of the remaining wood, closed up all of the buildings, and buttoned up some finer details that will make opening in the Spring a breeze!  The date for the Spring Work Weekend will be announced soon for sometime around early May.  Thanks again to the SCC Work Crew!
