Sheldon Calvary Camp

Welcome to Calvary Camp!  We are very excited about the fast approaching summer of 2011! This year we will be celebrating our 75th summer of ministry! When we care for children, adults, people of all ages, the fundamentals of every Calvary Camp program lie within our mission statement:

To offer campers an environment where spiritual growth is fostered and self-esteem is encouraged.  We seek to build a Christian community, which nurtures friendship, models the acceptance of of individual differences and values all of God's creation.

It is within this context that all Calvary Camp programs are created.  Children often leave Calvary Camp after attending a program talking about a sense of achievement, community, and inclusion experienced through relationships.  Many campers have said "I am my best 'self' at Calvary Camp."  One staff member commented that "kids can come to camp without the external pressures of the world to be someone else and can focus on being themselves."  Calvary Camp is intentional in creating a community that embraces and finds children where they are.  To learn more about the different programs we offer, click on the corresponding link to the left.

Coed Camp - One or two week long overnight camp for children ages 8-16.

Day Camp - Days at camp, nights at home.  For children ages 7-12.

Ready, Set, Camp! - A shorter version of overnight Coed Camp for boys and girls ages 7-12.

Family Camp - Families rent out cabins of their own for a week.

Labor Day Weekend Camp - Four day, three night experience at camp for families and friends.
