The Fralden Terrace Project

In spring of 2016, Sheldon Calvary Camp finalized the purchase of an additional 40 acres of property to the east of our existing campus. Over the course of the next several months, we invested heavily in the restoration and reclamation of the grounds. We demolished 24 neglected structures, removed 15 40 yard dumpsters worth of building contents, properly disposed of over 300 tires, removed 20 "walking floor" semi trucks full of building debris and recycled 100,000 pounds of scrap metal.

Our vision for this newly renovated space is to develop extended programming opportunities during the summer including fishing at the south side pond, sailing off the beach access, hiking trails in the forest, and establish an archery range in the shade overlooking Lake Erie.
