Nothing is more important to you than your child. All parents want their children to be happy, healthy, and connected to other children in positive, meaningful ways. Calvary Camp is the ideal summer experience for kids not only to have a great time in a safe, nurturing environment, but to learn about independence, about their own talents, and about what it takes to live in community with others.

Our staff members are some of the finest people you could meet, and quickly become role models and confidants for the campers who come to trust them and to look up to them. The vast majority of our staff members are former Calvary Camp campers who aspired to become like the staff members they had so admired.

Calvary Camp really is all about fostering personal growth and developing children as moral, communal, and spiritual people!

We are accredited by the American Camping Association and have been serving campers in 1936. Each year we also participate in professional development training through the ACA to ensure we are meeting (or even exceeding) industry standards. You might be interested in some of the information they publish for parents. As a member of the ACA we abide by roughly 300 standards of care, here is a description of our program goals and outcomes as an example.

Generations of families have attended and loved Calvary Camp. We hope your family will too!
