A Day at Camp

● Housing & Dining

Cabin Life

Cabin life is at the heart of the Calvary Camp experience. Each cabin, home to eight campers and two counselors, becomes a close-knit family for the week—sharing stories, laughter, and quiet reflection. Counselors help guide campers through daily routines, encourage teamwork, and create a safe, welcoming space where lifelong friendships begin.

● Housing & Dining

Dining Hall

The Dining Hall is where the whole camp gathers to share meals, songs, and laughter. Campers sit with their cabinmates and counselors, enjoying family-style meals filled with conversation and connection. It’s a place where friendships grow, traditions come alive, and every meal feels like a celebration of community.

We do our very best to accommodate all dietary restrictions with a variety of options at every meal—so everyone leaves happy and full.

● Free Time

Activities

Days are filled with adventure and choice at Calvary Camp. Campers select from a wide range of activities—like swimming, kayaking, archery, arts and crafts, and tennis—allowing them to explore new interests and practice independence. Each activity is designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and a love for the outdoors.

● Community

Campfire

Gathered by the lake, campers fill the night with singing, shouting, and pure joy. Campfire is a time to laugh, let loose, and come together while we sing songs that have been passed down for generations alongside newer favorites, creating a shared experience that connects campers past and present. Each campfire features fun, high-energy skits from our program staff that tie into the theme of the week, unfolding an ongoing story as the session goes on.

● Reflection

Chapel

Chapel is a quiet, meaningful time to pause and reflect together. Set against the beauty of Lake Erie, it’s a space where campers and staff gather to sing, share stories, and explore faith in an open and welcoming way. These moments of reflection remind us that our community is built not only on fun and friendship, but on gratitude and grace.
